Sorry for the lack of updates to the site over recent months; I know there are are a few pages on the site that do not carry the latest information. Part of the reason is that I've been busy working on a new printed publication for trading card collectors, due for release early next year. It's the first time I've done something of this kind and it should be well worth the wait...

Walkers Snacks in the UK is due to release a new series of collectable Tazos. The circular cards will feature characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series and will adopt a similar format to those from the last Pokémon set, being lenticular in nature and having no slots around the edge. From what we've seen, collectors will be treated to character images which "zoom" towards them when the cards are tilted. Expect to see the new Tazos in promotional packs of Walkers Quavers shortly.

Readers of Card Zine may have noticed that the 11 July - 7 August 2001 edition of the UK children's magazine Disney's Big Time contained a feature entitled 'Card Talk'. Parts of this feature bore a striking resemblance to certain pages in Card Zine. We would like to make it clear that there is no connection between Disney's Big Time and Card Zine and that the information concerned was published in Card Zine in 1998 (and subsequently updated), several years before the publication of the Disney's Big Time feature.
