More Silly CDs on the way

Trading card newcomer Hero Factory Inc. is to release a second series of Silly CDs cards/stickers. The company, whose licenses include Ice Age and Stuart Little 2, has teamed up with Silly Productions Inc. to produce new cards as well handle distribution of the first set, originally released last year.

Silly CD cards feature cartoon style images that parody popular music CD covers. Amongst those behind the cards are John Pound and Jay Lynch, who both worked on Topps' classic Wacky Packages and Garbage Pail Kids. The first series, which boasts regular cards, puzzle cards and special sticker inserts, features such artists as N-Stink, the Lice Girls and Spitney Bears.

Hero Factory say that collectors can expect to see the second series of Silly CDs released at the end of this year, or the beginning of next year.
