Sailor Moon Prismatic - Dart Flipcards (Canada)
Sailor Moon Prismatic is Dart Flipcards' second trading card series based on the animated television series, following the success of its original Sailor Moon Awesome trading cards last year. The artwork used in Sailor Moon is of a Japanese manga style and comes from Toei Animation, the team behind the popular Dragon Ball Z. This second Sailor Moon set features all-new art and differs from the first in that it is printed entirely on holographic card.
The basic set is made up of 72 regular-sized holographic trading cards, with an additional six lenticular animation insert cards (1:18 packs) making up the master set. Dart, like several other trading card manufacturers, guarantees at least one basic set (cards 1-72) per display box. The additional six card lenticular card set could prove valuable, and obtaining one is likely to be a rather difficult and expensive task for the average collector. Dart have limited production of the cards to 500 cases. Expect to pay around £1.25 per six card pack in the UK, through specialist dealers. Two promo cards have been produced for the set.
