New card reference book for 2002

Collectors can expect to see a new UK-published trading card reference book next year courtesy of established dealer Paul Hart. The Gum Guide will offer information and prices for cards, collectable stickers, bubble gum wrappers and sweet cigarette packets relating to television, movies and cartoons. "I am looking for obscure issues worldwide", says Paul, who is inviting Card Zine readers to get in touch with him if they know of any interesting releases that might make worthwhile additions to the guide. Paul already has information on a large number of issues, including many UK sets dating back to the 1960s. The Gum Guide is currently scheduled for release in March and will come with exclusive promo cards, these being Thunderbirds, Dr. Who and possibly Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
