UK manufacturer Cards Inc. is giving collectors plenty to look forward to, having recently announced a number of set release dates and new licences. First up is the Prisoner volume one, based on the classic drama starring Patrick McGoohan. 72 cards will make up the basic set, with a variety of bonus inserts including actor autograph cards. Staying with the cult TV theme, Cards Inc's The Saint Premium Edition Trading Cards are currently scheduled for release this October. The company is hoping that its UFO set will ready in time for Christmas. Also currently in the works is a Supermarionation collection, which is likely to take the form of a twenty card factory set presented in a tin or box.

Other company licences include Stingray, Fireball XL5, Friday 13th, Transformers and Power Rangers. Transformers and Power Rangers will feature in both trading card and album sticker collections.

Cards Inc. has also given Card Zine details of a number of UK promo cards due for release shortly. The company expects UK promos to be produced for Topps' Star Wars Episode 2 Autograph Series and Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers collections. The latter may well be made available at the Autumn Memorabilia collector's fair in Birmingham.
