Bandai France Carddass trading cards

Toy giant Bandai has recently expanded into newsagent-style collectables in France. The company has produced collectable keyrings and figurines, a Stick-Ems game with collectable pieces and a superb range of high-quality trading cards under its Carddass brand, already well established in Japan.

Out now is the eighth series of Carddass Dragon Ball GT trading cards, based on the successful manga animation series. The basic set is made up of 46 trading cards with the chance of finding additional prism insert cards, inserted into approximately 1:20 packs.

Also available is Donkey Kong series 1, featuring superb artwork of characters from the video game of the same name. Card backs feature game playing hints and screen-shots. The series is made up of 42 regular trading cards and 12 holographic cards (inserted one per pack). 6 prism sticker insert cards are also available (1:25 packs).

Both the Dragon Ball GT and Donkey Kong cards are sold in packets of 5 at 10 Francs per pack. Card Zine has also seen some Super Mario 64 Jumbo Carddass sticker trading cards, being sold in packs of two.
