Alien Vs. Predator - Inkworks (USA)

The latest chapter in the Alien saga is featured in a new trading card series from Inkworks. The Alien Vs. Predator collection encompasses 90 regular cards and a variety of bonus inserts that fans of the film will be eager to get their hands on.

The basic set showcases scenes and characters from the movie, as well as providing an insight into the storyline and the making of the film. The eight-card AVP Gallery sub-series adds to the interest of the basic set. Here, we're treated to both colour and black and white artwork of Alien vs. Predator characters. Indeed, this is something that other manufacturers might well include in a chase set. It's great to see Inkworks' basic sets contain this type of variety.

Bonus insert cards for this collection are nine Survival of the Fiercest foil puzzle cards (1:11 packs, we found three in our box), six Deadliest Game foil cards (1:17 packs, we found two), seven autograph cards (1 per box) and seven Pieceworks costume cards. Our autographed card featured the signature of Ian Whyte (Scar in the film). Others signing are Sanaa Lathan (Lex), Colin salmon (Max), Sam Troughton (Thomas), Agathe de la Boulaye (Adele), Joseph Rye (Connors) and Adrian Bouchet (Sven). We also found a Pieceworks redemption card to be sent away for a card containing a piece of Lance Heriksen's costume. Inkworks has also produced three box loader cards (one per box) and three case loader sketch cards (1 per case). According to Inkworks, some of these sketch cards have also been randomly inserted into packs.

The Alien Vs. Predator series is being sold in seven card packs with 36 packs per display box. A collector's binder and 199 uncut sheets of the foil puzzle insert set are also available.
