Angel Season Five - Inkworks (USA)

Inkworks showcases the final season of Angel in this new collection. The Angel Season Five trading card series boasts a 90-card basic set as well as Inkworks' usual array of great bonus inserts. The bulk of the base cards are devoted to coverage of the twenty two episodes that made up Angel's fifth season. Two or three cards are given over to each episode, with the exception of the season finale, which is described across five cards. Other sub-series making up the basic set are Wolfman & Hart (nine cards describing the show characters and their connections to the law firm), Office Romance, Demon Compendium, Family Ties and Dearly Departed.

Insert cards for this set are nine Breaking the Circle foil puzzle cards concerning the Circle of the Black Thorns (1:11 packs; we found three in our box), six The Last Days foil embossed cards (1:17 packs; we found two), twelve autographed cards and seven Pieceworks cards (each 1:box, we found an autographed card from actor Marc Vann and a Pieceworks card featuring part of Wesley's shirt). Others signing autographs are Mercedes McNab, David Fury, Adam Baldwin, Vincent Kartheiser, Jonathan Woodward, Alec Newman, Tom Lenk, Eyal Podell, Camden Toy, Jennifer Griffin and Gary Grubbs. The other Pieceworks costume items meanwhile are Fred's top and trousers, Angel's shirt, Gunn's shirt, Spike's shirt and Lorne's shirt.

Angel Season Five trading cards are being sold in seven card packs, with 36 packs per display box. Also included in each box is one of three Mystical Mutations box loader cards. A case loader card and a limited edition uncut mini-press sheet of the Breaking the Circle foil puzzle have been produced. Inkworks has given collectors the perfect way to store their collections, with a brand-new binder featuring Angel Season 5 graphics.
